A platform for products from the sea
The quality of the equipment and services encouraged sea transport/import/export groups to settle here. You can find activities of salting, and smoking mixed with nearby mytiliculture and oyster farms.

Adapted logistics
The port plays a basic role for ship-owners who utilize the port as an unloading station for their cargo. Their cargo may be sold on location, or it can can be easily transported by road to other French ports, other countries etc. Transport companies are also present on Chef de Bay which is equipped with a refrigerated transport station.
